Alex, the man, the myth, the legend… at least on the golf course. Alex is a welcomed addition to our annual trip, gracing us with his presence for a second year running – and actually hanging out, which is a definite plus!
While he’s a passionate golfer, his journey hasn’t been without its… moments. He once decided a golf cart was an off-road vehicle, narrowly escaping a high-speed encounter with gravity down a steep hill. And who could forget the time he took one for the team, literally, getting hit in the head by a rogue shank that sent him straight to the ER? Clearly, he’s committed to the game, even if it means sacrificing a few brain cells.
He operates on his own unique set of rules, particularly when it comes to handicaps. Forget the official system; he’s a firm believer in the “vanitycap” system, where perception is reality and looking good is half the battle (I mean look at this guys pictures). Just don’t get stuck behind a slow group, because Alex rivals the Hulk with his anger towards slow play – a truly awe-inspiring sight.
Perhaps his most memorable golf achievement (and subsequent facepalm moment) came when he aced a hole, only to hit his only hole-in-one ball into the woods on the very next hole. A true testament to his unpredictable nature and ability to keep us all on our toes.
